Speaking from my own personal experience, it seems like it couldn't hurt to give the Lexapro a chance. I often want to stop talking meds before giving them a chance to work. At least that's what most psychiatrists tell me. You can always stop the drug, change the drug, or change dose back in time if things don't seem right. I hope you find the drug/dose that works for you!
