I took Lexapro at a dose of 40mg for eight months in 2004. It did absolutely nothing for me. I know that is supposed to be a high dose. But other than 10 lbs of weight gain, I couldn't feel a single...I didn't get any anti-depressant or anti-anxiety effect from this drug. That's my two cents worth. I hope you have better results. Seems like some people on this board have had positive results with Lex, if I remember correctly.
