My son has been on lexapro and lithium, but both gave him stomach, intestinal problems. He's been on depakote with no effect.
His diagnosis range from bipolar or GAD, depression. Doctors can't agree because he's lethargic not manic.

I might ask the doctor whether the Seroquel should be combined with Lamictal or an antidepressant like Effexor,Wellbutrin or Cymbalta.He hasn't tried those SSRIs yet.

The seroquel makes him feel blah with no joy for life. Maybe the antidepressants will make him happy. The sedative effect of Seroquel probably will help him with his impulsiveness and anger/rage.
Maybe a combination will work.
