Umm not really. But I mean you should be doing a blood work profile every 3-6 months to see how the Marplan and you other meds are all working together well with your system.
One thing that happened last year when i was on Nardil, which was a great medication, but had SOOOo many side effects, (i couldnt even pee urinary urgency, etc..). so my doc gave me Permax (or Pergolide generic here in US), which after a few days took care of the urinary urgency. Then I told him i cant cum, so what can we do about that, he suggested the Cyproheptadine or Bethanechol, which all would relax the glands or groind area not letting you orgasm. And it worked. So for a month or 2, i was on Permax, and Cyproheptadine or Bethanechol together, until Nardil just made me gain so much weight. I was jobless, didnt care, and i couldnt stop eating, on Nardil 75mg, and felt the theraputic effects of Nardil were NOT working. So I decided to go off Nardil slowly and end it.
About 1 month or 2 after being OFF Nardil completely, my primary care doc sent me for full blood work which then should my testosterone level to be mysteriously BELOW normal! It made sense to me because i was still depressed and no libido had come back. So I dont know if the Nardil trial caused it, the Permax, Cyproheptadine or Bethanechol. But it might have some effect mind you. Everyone is different, and this was just a completely different episode than yours. I then went on taking a few rounds of Testosterone injections to bring my levels quicker back to normal from there.
I dont think the Cyproheptadine or Bethanechol caused the decline in my Testosterone level. But they had no side effects, just took one of each in the morning.
