Hi Teck, so how has the Marplan been going? You are still at 40mg? I heard since Marplan and Nardil both work on GABA that they would calm both the depression and social anxiety.
Nardil did both for me last year. Also, my doc allowed me to take a small dose of generic regular adderall, 10mg, (which is very risky and must be done carefully) in the day with the Nardil to counter the sedation of Nardil. I would also check my blood pressure daily, and had a supply of Atenelol and Cozaar to take if the small doses of adderall interacted with the Nardil. Also the plan was that the adderall would suppress the increased appetite Nardil would bring.
As for the Marplan, I havent started it yet, maybe after the new year sometime.
If you are experiencing sleep/insomnia issues now, try this cocktail about an hour before you want to sleep: 4mg clonzaepam (generic form klonopin), 100-125mg trazodone, 400mg carbamazepine, 6mg melatonin, 15-45mg temazepam. Any combo like that will put you to sleep fast and keep you from not waking, 7-8hrs.
For the anorgasmia, both times when I was on Nardil and Parnate it happened to me too! And my psychiatrist is very liberal and we tried this combination antidote that worked: Cyproheptadine Hcl Tabs 4mg, 1 a day, plus Bethanechol Chlor Tabs 50mg, 1 a day. And after a few days, you can cum again!! Now it wont change your lowered libido, but you CAN orgasm. lol.
