I started with 25 mg for a week and it made me feel anxious during the day (though not certain it wasn't from withdrawal from Zyprexa). My PDOC had me raise the dosage gradually so that I'm now at 300 mg. It knocks me right out and I feel better during the day now. Apparently the higher the dose the less it makes you sleep which to me is a paradox and has, so far, not been the case. I sleep like a log within an hour of taking it! I have Bipolar and also take 100 mg of Lamictal, 10 mg of Lexapro, and 1 mg of Rivotril (Clonazepam/Klonopin).
