I've been taking cymbalta for about 3 months. I'm taking 90 mg. I take my dose at night, just before bed, along with 12.5 mg seroquel

Can't pee?
This side effect always was really disturbing when I upped my dosage. The most unpleasant feeling, really. It gradually gets better, but I still have hesitation most of the time. Only 10 seconds, but in public restrooms, I always start getting anxious- what if I can't pee?!?!?

Can't poop?
This sideeffect common to many ssri's. it will go away in a week or so. Drink lots of fluids (that helps with the peeing thing too :) and plenty of veggies, fruits and whole grains. Coffee might help too- kind of makes me have to pee, and gets my bowels moving too, now that I think about it!

Can't feel?
Hmm. Well, I haven't had this problem, exactly. (I'm a woman, by the way) but I have had a lot of problem getting the orgasm to happen. It's SO annoying when I'm ready for sex to be over, and I know I've been on the verge of climaxing for minutes, and it won't happen! Once I just gave up. but in general, the sex has been different. I still prefer sex on cymbalta to sex on major depression, though.

Cymbalta has been working pretty well for my depression. Try to stick with it despite these side effects. Sorry it's been a problem for you. No fun at all.
