(I don't know how to do that insert carrot thingy, but I believe the above is true. I know a couple people who work for pharma companies, and while the people I know doing it are ethical and hard working, they readily admit that some drugs aren't researched or continued because there isn't a big enough market. For example, diseases that are relatively rate, etc.)
