Naugtypuppy, you are kidding! Ruling out thyroid dysfunction should have been the very first thing they did. You might want to see a regular doc to see if you can a thyroid panel done - they ought to do that at the very suggestion. A whole metabolic panel would be even better, but that's often harder to talk them into. What is UP with doctors anymore, anyway??....
