I dont know much at all about the pharmacology of Lamictal. I guess it works similar to how other mood stabilizers appear to ehance antidepressants in unipolar depression. Whilst for bipolar people they have more of a stabilizing effect. Thats just my guess.
I am curious as to why you are tapering off Lamictal if it has helped you get better? I mean, even though you've been better since starting Parnate, you were still on a reasonable dose of Lamictal right? How do you know Lamictal didn't play its own part in your responce to the Parnate?
