As if thats why they are here, to ruminate and obsess about the past.
Just being here is a step towards a recovery. Perhaps they are interested to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
Anger helps people heal. If the anger is justly directed towards the offending agent (no parallels here) then it is justified.
