Fred! You speak for me exactly. I can't drink any more so haven't got access to a good anxiolytic. However I found that the anxiety came back worse when the alcohol wore off.I think the point is, if alcohol is such a good anxiolytic, can't the drug experts come up with a harmless version of alcohol? Xanax etc don't do much for me either, but it's all I've got. Marijuana can precipitate severe anxiety I find BTW
