Best thing since sliced bread. Ha Ha Ha. Seriously though...Provigil has been awesome for me. The first few weeks I was ready to give it up but once I got used to it it gave me the get up and go I needed without the anxiety that comes with taking stimulants. I've just recently lost the approval of my insurance company for paying for it and it is really expensive. I've taken it for over a year and all of a sudden the insurance won't pay for it. I'm actually going to go have a sleep study done to see if I can get it covered again. Why not ask your doc if you could just try it out based on what you have heard from other people here. Is your doc a P-doc? If not you might want to try another doctor. It seems like most psychiatrists are up to date on Provigil and pretty comfortable with it.
