Ok, I have been through paxil withdrawal. Here is what you can do:
1) Get the liquid form of lexapro. It will let you taper down much more slowly than trying to cut up the damn pills. Why docs don't suggest this is beyond me.
2) GO MORE SLOWLY. None of this halving the dose nonsense if you are getting sick from it!!
3)Honest to God, I wouldn't titrate any more quickly than lessening your dosage every three to four weeks. If you can do it sooner, fine. But better slower with less pain
4)Add in some prozac. Its long half life will help and you will be able to get off of it readily after you are done weaning.
