Damn, and I thought benzo withdrawals were bad

Posted by mcp on July 9, 2004, at 16:56:10

I am two weeks into just halving my dose of Lexapro and it is a living hell. I am nauseous, dizzy, exhausted, and am crying uncontrollably every day. I haven't even gone down to 0 mg yet. Benzo withdrawals were bad physically, but this taxes every aspect of my being. I am getting hopeless that I will ever be able to get off this stuff and am seriously worried about my health if I continue to feel this bad. Can I please here some success stories about this to boost my spirits and any advice would help. My doctor doesn't seem to believe in SSRI withdrawals. Unfortunately, I am uninsured and can't switch docs. I find it laughable and downright criminal that they call this stuff nonaddictive.
