Oh man! Are you allergic to any sulfa drugs, such as Bactrim or Septra??? If so, you can't take Zonegran! It's contraindicated. It might be what's causing your itching. Can you ask your doctor to be tested for this type of allergy, if you don't know whether or not you're allergic to sulfa drugs?

If not, I'd keep on taking it, and see what happens, as long as you DO NOT get a rash, because Zonegran has been implicated with SJS too, unfortunately. Please keep me informed!
