I'd like to try Nortriptyline myself in combination with Effexor. Hi dose Effexor give me an energy boost, but it destroys my cognitive ability. Ideally I'd like to reduce my Effexor down from 225 to 150mg & take a full dose of Nortriptyline, but my pdoc claims all TCA's are worse than SSRI's for cognitive abilities, probably based on M1 blockade. My bowels could withstand some M1 blockade too as they nearly always move too fast.

Cheers,
Panda.
