Well, it is somewhat effective for ADD, which is a cognitive problem (among other things), so in that sense you can say it has helped my cognition. I'm assuming you have ADD from your name. Yes, it can help with ADD, but I am planning to try a stimulant along with it because I lack energy and am still inattentive, although no longer to the extent where locking myself out of my apartment is a regular occurence.:)
