I've been more worried about getting off the Paxil than starting the Effexor. I've heard bad stories. I will definitely wean myself off of it slowly. Cold Turkey is about the worst thing you can do on any AD drug. About a month ago I missed taking my Paxil for 3 days and I got that real scary 'I think I'm losing my mind' feeling. I absolutely hate that. At least I understand it enough to know why it happens and that I can take the medicine and feel better soon.Thanks for the luck...can always use a little bit of that.
