Maybe these docs should be required to take the meds they prescribe so they'd have a clue. E.g., they should all be required to withdraw from Effexor before prescriping it.
Yes! Never start Abilify at 10mg. Since your akathisia is unbearable, I'd buy a pill cutter (everyone should get one), and cut in quarters (2.5mg). Don't go to 5mg until your akathisia is hardly noticeable. Abilify is a big-time, powerful drug.
