I had the same problem with abilify, if cutting the dose isn't the answer you may want to try adding a bezo. In my case that wasn't enough so I am also taking a small dose of Zyprexa which tempers the akathasia well enough that I am active when I want to be but can still sit still for a time. For me it is better than either of the meds solo but I'm still working in finding that ideal dose. Good luck.
