Meds which help with anxiety:
1. Klonopin and Nardil - gold standards
2. Amisulpride (and Sulpiride) - I wish there were done few studies to evaluate whether Amisulpride increases GABA levels, just like benzos, because while it was working - I felt the exact Klonopin-like anti-anxiety effect. There is a study which shows that Amisulpride attaches to GHB receptors (the only antidepressant which does so! except of course Xyrem/GHB) - so this could explain some interaction with GHB/GABA system.
3. Xanax or GHB/Xyrem for short-term anxiety relief
4. Supplements: Picamilon, L-Theanine, Kava-kava
5. For those having ADD - amphetamine-based drugs: Adderall,Dexedrine have anti-anxiety effect (at least for me, and from what I read about others effects)
6. Barbiturates - I don't know if they are still used/sold, but they used to be quite effective, although addictive and dangerous (mixed with alcohol).
7. Prozac and whole SSRi family - they have only *fair* effect when it comes to anti-anxiety
8. MAOi: Parnate, although it is quite stimulating too ; Aurorix/Mannerix (moclobemide) - supposedly quite useful, although there are not so many studies done on it
