In reply to chronic facial tension, posted by heavenlee on January 6, 2004, at 11:42:32
> Five years ago I went through severe withdrawals from clonazepam, most withdrawal symptoms like insomnia have faded but I am left with severe muscle tension in my face. I havent been on any kind of meds in 5 years.I have a very good diet, no caffeine. Can anyone suggest something I can do to get rid of this tension. It is very difficult to socialize with people because at times my face is so tight I am unable to smile.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks God bless
Maybe try kava kava, valerian . . . also, hot damp towels applied to face. not real convenient, I know, but it should help.
