I really have been wondering, it is really hard to get a definte answer! I certainly felt like a much happier person on Prozac, and in turn might have ate less, I usually eat while bored or depressed. Once I feel good about myself and feel thin I am more active and feel like going out more etc.
There also is a theory that depressed people don't eat and once they get on SSRI's they feel better and start eating..and gain weight. And then there is the theroy where medications makes the liver metabolize slower, which
would make you gain weight, I have mentioned this in earlier postings.
I am not really sure if anyone really knows, but it is quite confusing!
