These observations may be personal. I think
that you are generalizing. Maybe there are
doctors who ARE prescribing them, but you are
not there at the scene to see it.

Maybe there has been some influence from the
noisy Brits and Canadians about using caution
in prescribing them for every little thing.
(I have noticed some papers for example on
the elderly and how their driving may be
impaired in taking these drugs on the Internet
Mental Health network and McGill Research Dept.

Is it possible that it is just your doctor
that does not think it advisable for you to
take them?
