Exactly! Six months ago, I started an effexor trial instead of reboxetine, because I thought I would be better off with a 5ht AND NE reuptake inhibitor instead of just NE.

I went up to 300mg, and then realised that its declared NE reuptake property was totally a joke. (At least within the recommended dose range.)

In the end I was right about my feeling that noradrenergic antidepressants would help me (mianserin and reboxetine helped me a lot), but I lost 3 months and went into terrible withdral from damn effexor.

I hate Wyeth and Effexor! (just my subjective feeling :)
