I also take a small amount of Klonapin at night (1/4 to 1/2 of a .25 mg tablet), and about 2.5 mg of Prozac every few days -- sounds crazy, I know, but I can't tolerate any more than that!

I also have long-term chronic depression (and have recently been re-diagnosed as BPII). I am doing just okay .. but keeping my head above water.

Some women find pregnancy protective for their mood disorders, others get depressed. The general rule is to take as little medication as possible. You need to get with your doc and plan carefully before trying.

As far as Lamictal goes, it's Category C -

Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans, but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks.

Klonopin is worse than Prozac for pregnancy. You get the idea.
