Hi Beardy,
I hope I'm not out of bounds here if I ask you whether you've been to an endocrinologist for a full work up? The reason I ask is that there are many medical mimics of depression, and endocrine problems are notorious for causing affective disorders. Some endocrine problems cause excess facial hair in women. Sometimes when the endocrine problem is cleared up, the depression lifts.
