It was a couple years ago, but I recall that I had to stay on the diet *at least* a couple weeks after stopping Nardil. Same hold-off period applies to taking meds that are verboten with MAOI's such as other AD's and many OTC cold remedies. Not surprising, then, that some of my side effects, especially severe sexual dysfunction, persisted for more than three weeks afer I stopped Nardil.
