Re: Paxil and Wt. Gain??

Paxil is the most notorious SSRI for weight gain. I gained about 30 lbs on it before I switched. I've had no weight gain with the other SSRI's, but they haven't worked as well, either.

Nevertheless, I know someone on Paxil who has had no weight gain. If you're not certain yet whether it's the Paxil, you might want to just keep an eye on it a little longer, particularly if the Paxil is doing a good job.

> Hi everyone - I have been on Paxil since October - I have also been on Wt. Watchers to loose weight. I am not having much luck with the Weight Watchers program and I am really sticking with it. I think the Paxil may be causing some wt gain although I weighed less right after I started taking it - I now weigh more.
