Ben,
I found Ritalin and even Ritalin SR to be short acting, leaving me with rebound depression when it wore off. I feel better on Adderall.

Just to clarify--if your impression about Concerta is based on something I wrote, let me clarifiy that when I referred to the Sustained release version of Ritalin, I was referring to Ritalin SR, NOT Concerta. I have never tried Concerta. I have heard from a few people that they like it, that it does last much longer. It has a completely different process of releasing the med slowly. Perhaps your impression of Concerta is from another source, but I just thought I'd clarify in case it was from my posts.
