Just thought I'd add, I am also Photosensitive TLE, which is not common, but makes it easier to trace. . .are flickering light and shadow connected to the "spells?"
Sleep deprivation?
Hyperventilating? (Used to get them when I swam laps, I was breathing too shallow.)
