Geodon is supposed to be better re: less sleepiness and fewer cognitive problems. Any comments on this? Thank you!

Here's where you MMMV. Meds tend to make me very drowsy and cognitively impaired, particularly the anticonvulsants and the newer neuoleptics. Geodon didn't make me drowsy at all, so I was very optimistic until I developed akithisa (severe internal restlessness which is possible with any neuroleptic). Zyprexa, Clozaril, Seroquel and Respiridol all knocked me out. Geodon might be worth a try, although many people have done very well on Zyprexa.

Hope you find the answer soon. BTW, Topomax made me feel like a total idoit, so I can identify with your son.
