Maybe I'm out of line here, and hopefully others will have opinions on this, but I question why, for a first time medication, you were given celexa and not prozac. If prozac works, it causes no weight gain and is much easier to get off. Celexa often times will work for people who don't get relief from prozac, but as a first medication, I'm surprised. Maybe your doctor thought you had a better chance of success with celexa since it covers more bases. Anyone else have any opinions on this?
