Hey Kell: I get depressed more in th summer too. I cycle up and down throughout the year but I am mostly down in the summer. I have a body image problem and I do have a little social phobia so I don't like to wear shorts or go out with a lot of people. I know how you feel but I don't know how to get past it so you can spend time with your kids. Maybe just let your kids motivate you. I'm sure you are a great mom so just concentrate on being the mom and to hell with anyone else. i know it's a lot easier to say but yo know you are getting unconditional love from those kids. You won't find a love like that anywhere else so embrace it. know that they aren't judging you and they will love you no matter what you do or don't do. Try not to think about any "other" people, just enjoy your time with those precious children.
Don't know if that makes any sense at all but I hope so.
Love ya Kell
Take care hun
Tina

> I know it sounds crazy because people mostly get depression more in the winter,But for as long as I've known it seems like i feel sadder in the summer.my dr. thinks it's because I scared of being around people & since more people are out in the summer it makes it hard to get out & go places.I have a week off of work this coming week, & i want to do somethings w/ my kids, my son wants to go crabbibg/fishing & to the boardwalk to go on some rides. So how can i do these things so my kids don't hate me?
