Yeah,
I think my pdoc is a horseman. I know you and he are right.
First lesson was Monday. I'm still sore everywhere from the waist down, and have bruises on my legs from the tack and from squeezing too hard I think. No. 2 is tonight. I used to take lessons when I was 10 or 12 and knew then how to post. Now there's something called a 2-point I need to master also. The posting didn't go so well Monday. Cal the Horse was terrific, though. Didn't seem to mind having me around picking at his feet, grooming, petting and talking to him... Also, when I was a girl, I didn't have to worry about coming down so hard on his back when mounting or posting, but now the instructor is warning me...
I hope some day that I will be able just to ride a horse around -- not in a ring.
