afraid of this page
a writer i am not
for this is a stage
almost like a plot

a set-up it seems
for broken dreams
to be told
your stuff is silly and old

never started a thread
it seems a dread
to be called out
as a fraud and a drought

a writer it seems
so special, a dream
if i had the ability
i'd do without futility
