Therapy, at the moment. And an understanding partner. And time to grieve.

'Working on it' is something I started doing about 18 months ago. Before that I buried it and repressed it and hoped it would go away. But it never did. So working on it (for me) means trying to find ways to live with the fact that I'm damaged, and at the same time recognising that I'm not destroyed.

Does that make sense?
