There's something missing in my life
amidst the joy, there's raging strife
cant' you see it in my smile?
It's been gone for quite a while

love me
change me
re arrange me

shape me
mold me
try and unfold me

I'm floating out on an empty sea
no it's not water that's drowning me
give me something to live for
set my feet back on the shore

try and unfold me

I have no anchor so I keep on drifting
as the sand in the hourglass keeps on sifting
one foot in heaven, and one foot in hell
I know I shouldn't do it, but I do it so well
