Not silly, but interesting. I think what the dog and the fish lack is any expectation, life is what it is. How I wish I could stop forgetting that. The day brings what it brings.

Even trees bear scars though, and they for all their strength are not immune, they still have to grow in directions that harsh winds may determine. This however does not mean they aren't strong, but they adapted, and it makes them all the more beautiful for it. :-)
