What a beautiful description of how people get to know one another.
I am fascinated by this poem you posted.

Love being a decision I think? If that's what is meant, that's pretty powerful. Maybe love is never based on certainty, but on faith. Knowing there's another there without ever being able to clearly see them.

'Not just our insides turned inside out'-but I suppose that's what we recognize right away. Altruism is one of my favorite things, and I mean that in the most selfish ways possible. I love to try to know other people, but I don't really know if it's really just 'my insides turned inside out'.
You have raised some interesting questions for me. I will ponder this at length.
