Beautiful Words

Posted by Susan47 on May 4, 2005, at 20:04:33

From Barbara de angelis' book, "Passion"

"Passion begins where your bodies unite
and ends where your souls dance.

When your spirits can join together
at the same time as your bodies
become one,
then all of you will be making love.
There will be nothing left between you
that is not love.

This is sacred communion.
This is ecstasy."

The next time I make love with a man, that's how it will have to be, I think. That, or nothing. Anything else is too sad. I've had everything else. Have I had this? I've had my own passion, which has been close.. but not enough. My own passion is not enough. I need a passionate man. There are men who are passionate, and men who aren't. I know what I'm looking for, now. I know what I poured in, that I didn't get back. From de angelis:

"Surrendering to your own passion
isn't surrendering to something
or someone
on the outside.

It's surrendering to the power
of your own love,
your own joy.

It's surrendering to your Self."

A man who has learned to surrender to himself, is priceless. Some of the men here on Babble, for example.. what are you like, IRL? Is this all something you just dream up as you sit here, typing? I know it isn't for me. I know myself, I know my passions and they come out at my fingertips, here, for you. For anyone. And mostly for myself, because I can't live without it. No. I refuse.
Rebel.
