It's so interesting to exchange comments with a poet who is fundamentally obsessed with the same thing as I am -- a lost love -- yet expresses it so differently. Very eloquent and nicely concise, though the bitter aftertaste of the relationship is clearly apparent. Is this the same person you were ruminating about when you went on the bender that led to your previous poem? Just wondering. Keep on postin'! And if you have the time and inclination, I'm always curious about your reactions to my own work. :) Atticus, who now knows "What Becomes of the Broken-Hearted" -- they end up on the Psycho-Babble Writing page
