I think you may be right about it being just a little too soon to think about trying to get these pieces to a wider audience. Right now I'm just enjoying being able to write them at all; it wouldn't have been possible even three months ago.
They're helping me work through a lot of things that I've avoided or have been too muddled to address for the better part of a decade. In many cases, a new poem comes about in reaction to the memory that I addressed in the previous one. That's why I keep shifting between very dark topics and lighter ones. I can't peer back into the abyss too many times in a row without it getting to me. I still don't know where all this is leading, although there have been some epiphanies along the way. Right now I'm just going with the flow. Ta. :) Atticus
