I picked the name Atticus for this electronic bulletin board because in "To Kill a Mockingbird," the character says "Never judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes." I feel like a lot of the people who participate in Psycho-Babble have walked a mile in my shoes and can understand what I'm trying to say in these poems, as well as elsewhere at this site. (And yes, Dr. Bob, I promise I'll use the bloody double-double quotes doodad next time I mention a book like I just did, but I just finished posting a long, emotionally draining poem, and it's after midnight, and I'm too mentally exhausted to try to figure the process out right now.
