Hi clubfitter,
I had to sell one of my businesses, because with the depression, I could not handle both businesses and have any time for my family. This was the worst business decision I ever made. I rushed into it and sold it to my best technical employee. For some reason, I thought that because he was good technically, he could run a business. I did it all on credit and lost many millions of dollars. I had hard money offers but I had promised this guy that he could have it. He used to manage the employees by locking himself in his office and have the employees E-Mail him. In 1.5 years he had completely gutted a business that was grossing close to a million per year. I'm not sure there was not some fraud involved also. The moral of this gruesome tale, put off the major life decisions until you are at least thinking clearly.The mentally handicapped are protected in the housing market. I don't know about the work world.
