Hello folks
Since the middle of October last year when I was on 10 mg of Zyp it has taken me four months to reduce to 0.625 mg. I am hoping to stay on the 0.625 mg for another 8 days after which I will cut it down to zero.
I was only on the Zyp for four years. My heart goes out to those who are withdrawing after 10 or more years.
I would like to get hold of my ex pdoc who kept me on this drug and strap him into a dentist's chair, wire him up to a drip containing 30 mg Zyprexa, let him live on that for six months and then cut him loose and let him find his own way back to sanity. On second thoughts I think it would be quicker and easier just to shoot him.
Be wary of pdocs who say Zyprexa helps the Lithium to work.
