I've been on E XR for two months. I started at 37.5 for a week and up to 75, where I've stayed. The hot flashes are awful, but I can stand them. BUT the insomnia is just unbearable. I've been taking Tylenol PM to sleep.
Over this weekend we stayed at my brother-in-laws, unplanned. So I had no Tylenol PM and no effexor for yesterday morning. I finally fell asleep at 7am and had to be up at 9am. Didn't get home until last night and decided I'm not continuing effexor.
Yesterday I felt a bit of an upset stomach, don't know if it was related or not. But other than that I feel fine. I'm waiting for the axe to drop. Is it possible to just stop and not have withdrawal? How long before it may hit me?
