i think the leaders are only just starting to come to terms with the fact that people from new zealand...
can read the washington post and the new york times... australian and english etc newspapers.
can read high quality research outputs. nature. and so on.
that the new zealadn government does not have control over keeping the people impoverished with the sh*tty garbage they spout in local media or on social media or the sh*tty garbage they acknowledge as output of the universities.
they don't have control over the reading material and the ideas and the ideals and the ideologies that the people of nz are exposed to.
the people of new zealand know we don't have access to many of the things that people overseas have access to.
the people of new zealand can aquire various things via amazon and the like...
the government is threatening to steal things that people get in... antibody tests andt he like...
but i don't know that that attitude is very sustainable for very long... getting between foreign businesses and new zealand purchasers...
it becomes clearer and clearer and clearer that it is the nz government trying to force people to conditions of deprivation.
ideologically even.
refusing to allow people to work to internatioanlly accepted standards.
they need tobe able to self-publish. for sure.
look at the garbage output that the government will publish, only.
so people can see... it isnt' that the people from nz are retarded. it is that hte leaders are and they refuse to allow the people with the capacity to function to capacity.
the leadership...
i get that it isn't the politicians (they have in fact little to no control over how they are portrayed by the media etc).
the think-tank. the ministry. the high paid senior officials who make stupid f*ck*ng decisions to the detriment of us all.
