possibly he's a competent civil servant.
possibly he was. when he was earning a respectable salary for a civil servant.
but he now takes half a million dollars per year.
and there's no excuse for that.
there's no excusing that.
and then, when he fails to comply with the laws (when he fails to consult with lawyers -- because why? because he's not paid enough to consult with lawyers??)
there's an isolation induced psychosis these people get when they have all the money and none of the accountability.
it's time to go.
